I like taking things that are used for destruction and ugliness and recycling them into beautiful and wearable pieces. Bullet casings + pearls + brass. This was on display at the Detroit Historical Museum for the Fashion Dfined exhibit in 2016. It has a very nice weight to it.
Each piece of jewelry that I make is not only one-of-a-kind but also very thought out. I try to achieve just the right amount of balance with materials, colors, and textures to make the best possible piece of jewelry that I would also wear myself. My studio is located in the heart of downtown Ferndale, a close suburb of Detroit, MI. I have had pieces inside the Detroit Historical Museum and sell my work on etsy and in local stores and galleries.
