Lilacpop Studio is owned by photographer and fashion designer, Janna Coumoundouros, specializing in real estate photography for over 17 years. I also shoot corporate, portrait, event, and editorial/fashion photography. As a fashion designer, I make one of a kind dresses made out of unusual materials such as car interior material and seatbelt. My jewelry is made from vintage machine parts. My fashion designs were at the Detroit Historical Museum along with Michigan natives Anna Sui, Tracy Reese, and John Varvatos.
My fine art photographs are printed on gorgeous metallic paper and are available in any size you may need. Interior designers feel free to inquire about specific shots you may want as custom work is offered.
I take apart vintage machines such as cash registers, adding machines, typewriters, and car parts and then incorporate them into my designer jewelry. My jewelry can be found online and in stores at The Peacock Room, Yellow Door Art Market, For The Love of Local, and Little Luxuries on Mackinac Island. I also do fashion styling and my clients include Ford, Lincoln, and Audi. I am the creator of Inteva Products' automotive dresses seen at the NAIAS 2015 Detroit Charity Preview and the winning dress from the Detroit Institute of Arts Samurai Design Competition.
My studio is located in the heart of downtown Ferndale, Michigan. I am also co-creator of Dinner Club Pop Up with Chef Matthew Baldridge. I curate the art shows and do the marketing for his brick and mortar restaurant in downtown Ferndale called The Conserva.
